OUR MISSION

Bitcoin Policy UK is a non-partisan, non-profit  organization dedicated to bitcoin advocacy in the UK, with a  focus on policy, mining and education.

We advocate for good policies that will benefit all those in the UK who hold, use and mine Bitcoin.

We aim to change policy towards Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining in the UK by engaging with policymakers to help shape key policies, and promote balanced and transparent regulations to encourage sustainability, innovation, financial inclusion and individuals’ protection.

We strive to develop solid partnerships and engage with the public, establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships with relevant organisations to encourage developing infrastructure and initiatives around Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining, and promoting individuals’ membership and engagement.

We educate the public, businesses and organisations about Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining, creating and sharing evidence-based relevant research, resources and information, targeting schools, universities and other organisations for educational outreach on Bitcoin and its many potential benefits to society.
